Farah Almadani, editor-in-chief of the Dartmouth Undergraduate Historical Review, the College's only student-run journal of history, informed the Department that one of the articles in their first issue was written in GERM 65.06: Belonging in Germany.
The paper, "German-Americans and the First World War: Through the Eyes of the New Ulm, Minnesota and Its Two Newspapers" was authored by student Thomas Lane '24. The full issue is available here: https://sites.dartmouth.edu/historicalreview/issues/.
The Dartmouth Undergraduate Historical Review will be celebrating Thomas' work and those of other writers on Tuesday, February 7th at 8 PM at Carson 312. This event is co-sponsored by the History department.
