April 13-16, 2017. Interdisciplinary conference convenes scholars, archivists, curators, print and online journalists, bloggers, and other advocates of film criticism from Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Yoram Ben-Zeev, former Isareli Ambassador to Germany, will visit our program for an informal discussion in the German Studies Department Conference Room (Dartmouth Hall, 3rd floor) on Monday, February 13 from 4.30-5.30 pm. Topics include the unique relationship between Israel and Germany and German policy on the Middle East conflict.

On a Grimm Wednesday night, German Club students presented three folktales from the Brothers Grimm Collection to musical piano accompaniment.The show included three imaginatively performed tales in English and German: The Bremen Town Musicians, Cinderella, and Rumpelstiltskin.
