German drill leader Workshops during first week of classes

The German Studies Program seeks to fill paid positions for our Beginning German Language and Culture drill sections (German 1 and 3) in Fall 2023.

The German Studies Program is looking to fill paid positions for our Beginning German Language and Culture drill sections (German 1 and 3) in Fall 2023.

Drill leaders will:

- be trained in performing the Dartmouth Rassias language drill 

- ​meet with your student group 3x/week for 9 weeks

- work closely with the faculty instructor of the class

- be paid by the German Studies Program

- add experience to your resume

- practice your German

- meet fellow students

Candidates must attend the general orientation workshop if they have never drilled before, in addition to the German workshops and the tryouts during the first week of classes.

The workshops will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the first week of classes in Blunt Alumni Center, Zimmerman Lounge.

Monday, September 11 @ 4:30 PM-5:30 PM (General orientation, if you have never drilled before)

Monday, September 11 @ 5:30 PM-7:30 PM (First German workshop)

Tuesday, September 12 @ 4:30 PM-6:30 PM (Second German workshop)

Wednesday, September 13 @ 4:30 PM-5:15 PM (Tryouts)
