The interdisciplinary workshop, co-organized by Assistant Professor of German Studies Petra McGillen, brought seventeen US-based scholars to Dartmouth whose research revolves around nineteenth-century media and practices of collecting. Participants from the fields of German Studies, English Studies, History, and Media Studies presented work in progress in 10-minute "pitches" and a lively roundtable format.
The workshop took place on March 9 and 10 at the Leslie Center for the Humanities. The full schedule can be found here.
